My golden sebright roo, (6 months old) is very weak and extremely skinny. He looks as if he's always eating, but has no energy and feels like feathers and bones. No signs of sickness what so ever. He is seperate from the rest of the flock. Is there anything I can do to help boost his energy and fatten him up some???

Sebrights as infamous for "going light" which is really mareks of the liver and other organs

there is not much you can do but keep him happy as he will never get heavier
you could get some probiotic at the feed store and put it in a
wet mash probiotic
3 tbsp of dry crumbles
5-1/2 tbsp of milk any kind
1 tbsp of yoguart
and the amt for each chicken of the boughten probiotic

also put him on
1 tbsp of ACV
1 qt of water so he gets this and his body will use the Vit D and calcium he gets from the feed yu give him

also you can try and feed him whole corn with granite grit
to maybe put some fat on his bones

if using him for breeding his genetic make up will give mareks demintion to the offspring
email me with questions

I've been feeding him the yogurt mixed with crumbles for a couple of days now. I was told to feed him some cat food as well to help boost energy. Should I really do that?
Should I give him whole corn mixed with starter??

yes make a mixture of
1/2 cup of crumbles
1/4 cup of corn
1 tbsp of granite grit
1/4 cup of dry cat food

also put the
1 tbsp of ACV to qt of water
and this will keep him going
once a day give
him
3 tbsp of dry crumbles
1 tbsp of yoguart
5-1/2 tbsp of milk any kind and feed this in the AM

he needs the milk also
what he can eat in 20-30 minutes and then clean wet feeder and put back his special mixture of feed
this is very good for him
any questions email me PM
