Hi All - one of our 16 month old pullets seems to have her tail perpetually fanned out. Similar to how most hen's tails look when they are about to jump off of a perch. She is a Cream Legbar. Not sure if this is just a breed trait or if something's up

You posted that she is 16 MONTHS. They are pullets until one year old.
These are not the best quality because they are from the coop cam but I think you can get the idea

Sometimes she closes them for a little while and a lot of the time they are fanned more than this. I wonder if she’s just feeling defensive because we just introduced her to the adults recently??
