Feather growth

I just got myself 6 Ex Battery Hybrid hens to add to my flock and you can imagine the state they are in feather wise,

My question is ..other than BOSS what would promote/speed up Feather growth?



I heard that sunflower oil on the food helps so this is what im trying first but other suggestions will be taken on board

Here is a thread about oats that maybe helpful to you. Pay particular attention to post #10 from Pine Grove. I've been giving my birds this now for about 2wks. I soaked them for about a week before I started feeding it to them. I feed it to them as 20% of their daily intake. I use the race horse oats as suggested by Pine Grove(william). If you get a chance, look up some of his birds. Absolutely stunning. That's why I got my Heritage RIR's from him.
