Feather health and growth

Hoping to get some advice, my polish rooster lost most of his head feathers due to the hens pecking at him. I removed him for a few months and they started coming back beautifully. I put him in with them again and tonight I saw dryed blood all over his poor head and face and a bunch of feathers missing from his head. I want to give him a daily routine of washing his head or applying something that will give good feather growth and strength so they come in and stay in. Any suggestions

I think the issue here is that he’s being picked on, not that he has poor feather health. Chickens don’t always live different and they might even think they are helping: “I’ll get that poof off your head for you.”
