Feather issues...suggestions/advice

So I've had my 5 hens for about a month now. They all recently starting molting since it's that time of year here. However, one hen has a sort of bare spot on her wing. At first glance i thought she was just missing feathers but on closer inspection it looks as though the feathers have broken off.Do I just leave this alone, and eventually it will resolve itself? Or, do I have to pluck out the stumps so that new feathers can grow in? I notice that sometimes her skin is a little pink from irritation if she has been rolling around in the dirt, likely because there are no feathers protecting the skin. See pics below
