My 2 year old EE hen started losing feathers on the back of her head a few months ago, and just recently it looks like it’s getting worse. The skin there is bright red. It does look like some pin feathers are trying to come in, but not many. I have 4 EE hens all of the same age. None of the other girls are having this issue. I tried checking for mites and lice, but I didn’t really see any signs. She is eating, drinking and acting normal. Could this just be a case of bullying by the other birds? Or does this look like a parasite issue?
