Feather loss

My one year old rooster is losing feathers on the front of his neck, it's in a circular sort of shape.
It has been happening for a few months now, it's just a weird bald spot on the middle of his neck.
Does anyone know what this could be?

I recommend you visually inspect your roo for lice/mites, look around the area where the feather loss is and vent area. Here's a link that should help.
