Feather loss

My chickens are about 2 months old and they are loosing feathers on their tails and wings how come this is happening?

They do go through mini molts while they get their adult plumage. I am assuming that they are getting new feathers at the same time you are finding lots of feathers in the coop? In other words, they aren't bald?

Just to be safe you should check them for mites.
