My 7 week old pullets were moved from in the house to the outside shed. Their feathers are everywhere: 1-3 inch feathers. They seems happy, doing hen things, eating, roosting, visiting with us. THey have 1-2 heat lamps depending on night temps. Do growing youngsters actually feather out many times by the time they are adults when they only molt once year????
