Feathers and mites

So we’ve been battling mites for a while and finally today I only saw 2 alive on my chicken which is good however, she had clumps in her feathers. I assumed they were mite eggs so I clipped them out because I didn’t want anything hatching. I’m not sure if it’s eggs or just clumps from the permethrin dust and liquid permethrin spray. Thoughts? I attached a picture

That's what I figured. They're definitely egg clusters. They look old though. Keep up treatments until all signs of life are gone. Good luck!

Permethrin is my go to treatment for pests. You need to treat weekly for 3 or 4 weeks to kill any mites as they hatch out. I also use poultry dust in my nest boxes. Good luck...
