Feathers and mites

So we’ve been battling mites for a while and finally today I only saw 2 alive on my chicken which is good however, she had clumps in her feathers. I assumed they were mite eggs so I clipped them out because I didn’t want anything hatching. I’m not sure if it’s eggs or just clumps from the permethrin dust and liquid permethrin spray. Thoughts? I attached a picture

Permethrin is my go to treatment for pests. You need to treat weekly for 3 or 4 weeks to kill any mites as they hatch out. I also use poultry dust in my nest boxes. Good luck...
