Feathers on toe

I have a two week old French copper maran chick just started growing feathers on her toe. Is this normal?

Yes French Marans have feathered feet.

I also have a Black Copper Maran chick (4 wks) and she also has feathered feet. I didnt know this breed has feathered feet, but I'm glad to hear that my chick isn't alone! I would guess it's normal, I just didn't know.

Yes! Our BCM is an adult hen now and looks like she has cozy slippers on. She had fully feathered feet when she was just a month old.
