Feed broilers layer pellets?

It is Tuesday night. My 10 broilers are going to the butcher on Friday (Thank God.). I am out of Fat & Finish, and would rather not buy another 50# of it, since it will not get used. They only sell 50# bags around here.
Can I feed layer pellets until Friday? Or maybe mix some whole grains in with the layer pellets? We would be talking two days worth of food here.

Absolutely. I often do this, because I get my broiler feed at 500 or 1000 pounds at a time, so I don't alway come out exactly right. You will have NO problem giving them layer feed for the last few days. I did notice that their poo changed color and was a bit nastier, but if you change any animal's feed all of a sudden, you can notice that.
