Hi, everyone:)
I’m not really getting a clear picture on what I should be feeding my ducks and one gosling at 5-6 weeks old now through all the links and q&a’s. I need to buy more feed today and I’ve been feeding them flock raiser and am wondering if I should continue with the flock raiser or move to duck pellets and continuing with the nutritional yeast and vitamins. They are not outside yet but put them out once a day to play in kiddie pool. Any opinion or suggestions on the feeding?

Flock Raise r+ Nutritional Yeast is what I would normally recommend, if you have a mixed flock with chickens.

If you just have ducks and geese? I'm not as familiar with the "duck designed" products, and can't offer advice with my usual confidence level. If that's the case, you might try a post in the duck forum. I rarely dip my toes in down there - while I have Pekins, they are, honestly, an afterthought.

Ok thank you. No chickens at this time-just 6 ducks and 1 goose. That’s honestly what I am doing for time being unless I’m advised differently-flock raiser with nutritional yeast and vitamins in water. Thanks again!

It sure doesn't take long, and boy they really demand greens, but I found out they were needing some grit one day while I had them out ranging as they weren't getting enough from the gravel in my drive which they tested out so I've been adding play sand to their drinkers and bathtubs.
