I am purchasing some dual purpose breeds to use as meat chicks this year - we will be raising our own for next year. What do I need to feed them for the best 'meat' outcome? Ages to change from one feed to another would be great too. They will be coming as day old chicks. I also feed house scraps and allow them to free range when they get big enough that the barn cats won't bother them. Thank you in advance!
