Feed mill inconsistency?????

So I just finished my first bag of grower and picked up another one... Different bag same stuff they said well it is 100% different, still 19% protein but look

The fine pieces with no seeds visible wouldn't even ferment properly , I added scratch to it. The new bag has whole dry corn in it??they said it might be the end of a run?? Is it normal to see such differences from bag to bag?

Not really normal to be that inconsistent. What brand? Good idea on notifying the company.

The feed mill makes it themselves . Fehrway feeds has been in business for 50 years. I noticed my girls are eatting less I think because it's hot and this is full of corn???
I'll see what they say.

I see. Then it does make sense that it could have been either at the beginning or the end of a run.

I'd return the bag and have that conversation with management. Who knows what happened, or what's in it?! Mistakes do happen, and some of them are very bad mistakes! Mary
