I'm waiting for the "How do you turn 10,000 hatched egg shells into micro chips" thread.

I'm in the same realm as laputa (which I think is a bad word in a different language

Between $2.01 and $2.50 per bird depending on feed cost, to 10 weeks but that is just the feed cost estimate. Energy, time, other expenses are not figured in. That also assumes feed costs $16/50# or less.

I'm not a good bean counter, but that is what I figure. That is also why I don't sell live birds.

Heres The Extent Of My Bean Counting.....

3 50lb Bags Of Startrena Every 2 Wks X 14.45 A Bag! That Covers All Gamebirds And Chicks. 2 50 Lb Bag Of Layena Layer Crumbles And 2 50 Lb Bags Of Scratch Grains Every 2 Wks At 11.78 And 8.97 (respectively)

And That Covers The Whole Herd For 2 Wks Until I Get Paid Again And We Start The Process Over....

Gamebirds Get Startrena And Chickens/ Turkeys/ Ducks Get A 50-50 Mix Of Scratch And Layena. This Combo Keeps Everybody Fat, Happy, Well Feathered, And Makin Eggs!
