Feed & Water

When you lock your chickens up at night do you keep water and feed inside also? I know it sounds stupid but someone told me not to keep feed inside at night?

The reason for not keeping the feed in there is it can draw mice and rats.

I keep the food and water inside the coop. Some people do not.
I think it depends on how you keep them.
They won't eat in the dark, but will wake up hungry and thirsty. (When aren't they?)
Some people do not like the mess they can make, in the coop.
Chicken food can attract pests like wild birds and rats.

I keep both food and water in the coop at night, but both are up off the floor on concrete blocks.

Feed and water in the coop at all times. Water available in the run at all times. Treats fed in trough in run only.
