My ch iui c kik s are egg layers and are 12 weeks old .what kind of feed do I give them now. Grower feed? Starter feed? And what protein percentages

Thanks that at helps a lotAny chicken feed will work if it doesn't have more than 1.5% calcium. You can go as low as 15% [protein], but I (and most) prefer to go above the bare minimum.
Thanks I will keep the first egg laying in mind.this will help with my next feed purchase which I have to do this weekAfter 10 weeks of age, I feed a Non-Medicated Starter-Grower or a All-Flock/Flock Raiser feed with 18/20% Protein.
I feed this throughout Adulthood. After 16 weeks I offer them Oyster Shells in a separate container. View attachment 1829505.
I don't feed a 16% Layers feed anymore.
If you want to feed a Layers feed later I would wait till they are showing signs of laying. Swollen Red Combs and Wattles, and squatting when you put your hand over them, or the first egg appears. GC
