We have 14 week old chicks that we would like to start intergrating into the coop. I don’t have enough space to section off an area for them - is it ok if they start eating layer feed sooner the 18 weeks? Since I won’t be able to control what there eating?

Do I need to supplement with oyster shell or anything else?
Yes, you'll need to offer Oyster Shells separately if feeding hens an All-flock or a Starter-Grower feed.
You'll probably get a few soft shelled eggs till they figure out they need to eat the shells, or they may never catch on, especially if they've had a Layers feed and no Oyster Shells. GC
