Hi! I had a question about feed. I made the huge mistake of buying two buff orpingtons that are now about 5 month, and then Two sex links and 1 Rhode island that are about 4 months old. The Buffs started laying sunday, and so when i went to go get layer feed, it looked EXACTLY like chick starter. We called the feed store people and they said it was layer feed. So i'm hoping i'm feeding them the right thing. BUT can i feed the younger chickens layer feed even though they are only 4 month old? Thanks!

Four Months is 16 weeks and they go off chick feed at 18 weeks so they should be fine. (I was mentally calculating sorry)
