What kind of feed should I use for my hens and rooster?

Depends on the age?...(IMO)if it's a hen 4-6 months old or already laying....you could start on Layer feed, either pellets or crumbles!
after about 8 weeks you can start on scratch and then go to layer at 4-6 months. Not sure if that answered your questions.
