The feed store i get my feed forms delivery didn't make it and all they had was 20% layer pellets. Will it be ok to feed this to them for a day or two until the truck comes in? They are 16 weeks old.

at 16 weeks they should be on layers feed anyway

so you should be ok to start on layers

I switch my laying flock babies to a 20% layer pellet at 16 weeks. Their bodies are starting to get ready to make eggs and they are growing mass by this age, so a good amount of protein is good for them by 16 weeks. So I think you are just fine feeding to feed the layer pellets.
