Yeah - my son is 17 and didn't want his friends to know we had chickens but he lately has been spending time with the chickens and we experienced a fox attack and he was very concerned about "our" chickens. I have also discovered that lately he has friends with chickens and they discuss them and at his last scout camp out he took a dozen eggs leaving me with not a one...We get 3-4 eggs a day so it was not tragic but he was very proud to share our bounty with the boys in his troop and even explaining why the yolks are dark and orange because they are better fed than "store bought" eggs......
Yes, I do think my hubby and son are becoming chicken friendly - Oh Andy, my husband built me a grit holder yesterday Same design as the feed holder. Yeah think he A) likes me, B) likes my chickens and C) likes to build stuff
