Feeder or without feeder which way is best?

I have buyed my chickens but I should buy a feeder or without feeder is better for my chickens

You'll waste less feed if in a container.

That said, I know a woman that raises baby chicks on a bed of feed rather than bedding material and a feeder.

F2f what CC said. Also, feeders wil also help reduce pests like mice and rats. For the best rodent protection, close up the feeder at night.
