Hi guys, just wondering if anyone raises feeder roaches(Dubia roaches) for treats for their pheasants or ducks. I used to raise them for my reptiles and they breed like rabbits and have a way better protein ratio than crickets. Just curious,

I don't see any reason why you couldn't, I feed extras to my domestic birds, they seem to love them. The species I have is Blaptica dubia, as well as Blaberus giganteus & Hissers. The first two are extremely prolific!!

I raise dubia's for my chickens, I do not have pheasants or ducks but see no reason they wouldn't love them. My chicks start getting dubias at just a couple of days old (they have access to grit) I just choose the young ones to feed the small chicks.
