I have a small coop and have to have my feeder outside in the run. Well everytime it rains the feed gets soaked and I have to throw it out. Is there a better idea of how to solve this problem or what else can I do? Ive tried placing it in 5 or 6 different spots and water still gets in. I have a tarp over half the run, but some water comes through and no matter what, its always the part where I have my feeder at!

Any ideas?

Edited to add:

This is what my feeder kinda looks like. Instead of being angled in the back its just straight up.

I hang my feeders also outside during the warmer weather too , I have also ran into this , but my large feeders are hanging from a small light chain (like the chain you would hang a 4 ft flor. lighting with) I place a plasic 30 gal trash barrel lid about 8" from the top of the feeder by placing a small hole in the center of the lid -ran the chain though with nail - or something as a stopper- seal both top and bottom of the holes - then place feeder .................. works for me -n- feeds stays dry
