Feeders

I would like to know if the outside hanging rabbit feeders will work for Coturnix Quail. If so what do I need to do to stop a lot of waste

I think they might be a bit too big and quail may be able to go in them and step on the food?

I find waste is minimised the most when quail have to put their head in something to reach the food. The simplest is a container with some holes cut in it.
