Feeding and watering systems for 10 days?!

The BF's brother says that he doesn't mind feeding/watering every day, but I'm still trying to get stuff together to make it a little easier on him. I jerry-rigged a feeder for the quail (might actually feed them for the entire trip) and I'm going to switch out the pint jar for a quart jar. That'll make it so that the quail will only need fed once at most. Water will be maybe every 4 days. The rabbits, they're another story. The male may be going to someone's place as a stud for the trip. The doe will be staying here (she could be due any time now), but I put the 16oz bottle on her cage (along with the usual 8oz bottle). I still need to figure out feeding for her.

I used 1 gallon waters in each pen taht last several days, if you put 2 in each pen they may last for the whole trip.
got the push in nipples from Farmtek. The feeder needs filling every day for 7 quail.

Did you install the nipple into a milk jug?! Please let me know how you did this! I won't be able to do it for the trip, but it would certainly be nice for future reference.

You drill a whole in the jug and push in the nipple, it has a gromet the keeps it from leaking.
some BYC's use water pitchers, but milk jugs worked fom me.

I have 8 pens of quail and use a watering system for then all here is some pics
