Feeding BOSS to bantams

I have all bantams and a few that are only 7 weeks old. Is it safe to feed them BOSS?

BOSS is a high-fat food and fed in moderate to large amounts will cause an imbalanced diet. In addition, young birds fed excessive fat while growing deposit more fat in the abdomen, which negatively affects their egg laying as adults. A little bit occasionally will not hurt them, but it should be only a small part of a well-balanced diet.
