feeding cabbage

Hi, Everyone! I have a head of cabbage left over from St. Patty's day and would like to share it with my flock. What's the best way to do this? Should I cook it? Leave it raw? Break it up in pieces? Don't want it to go to waste, and I've had my fill for this year.

Mine prefer it not cooked. I just cut it into pretty large chunks and throw it into the run. They do like it.

mine got their first head of cabbage last week. don't be surprised if it takes them a little while to figure out that it's food. it took mine about a whole day before they got the hang of it, but once they did they demolished it!
