I purchased a side of beef this week and was given the suet for my wild birds. I live in upstate NY where it is very cold in the winter. I got to thinking, if wild birds love this stuff is it ok to offer my chicken as a treat. Also, is there any harm in feeding the chickens whole "cow" corn? I know cracked is ok, but how about whole? Thank you for the feedback!!

I feed mine whole corn all the time, (we raise corn, and other grains, so they are ground sweepings) their gizzard will crack it long as they get grit.

I've given mine the sunflower suet blocks for birds and they had no problem, so I would think beef suet would be fine. I don't know about the corn, as I don't give mine any at all.
