Hello, I have some 11 week old cockerels and 13 week old pullets. Until now they have been kept separate from my egg laying hens and have been fed starter/grower feed. I’ve always just kept the younger ones separate until 18 weeks, but they are very anxious to be kept with the rest of my flock so I’m wondering, should I start feeding all of them “all flock” and keep oyster shells on the side for my layers? Also, I’ve never had roosters before. When they are all over 18 weeks should I still use the “all flock” so that the roosters aren’t having the extra calcium? I appreciate any helpful advice!
