Feeding chickens pizza

Hey! Possibly odd question.
I ordered pizza and the middle isn’t fully cooked. They are replacing it but I was wondering if I can feed it to my chickens instead of just throwing it out.
I never feed them anything like that. Just greens fruits veggies and their normal feed.
It does have pepperoni and green bell peppers on it.
What do you guys think?

Bummer about your pizza!
When they can get it, my chickens occasionally sample spray foam used to insulate doorways in out buildings. While I know pepperoni is not considered the healthiest or most digestible of all foods, it must be infinitely better than spray foam.

I think that if it is a one time thing, give them some, once won't hurt them. There are far worse things that can happen than giving them some pizza. I have done it once I think in the year that I have had my ladies, leftover pizza that we found in the back of the fridge--a little too old for me but not them.

Again, just like everything moderation is the key. People will comment if you do it or you don't.

I wouldn't because of the salt.

I would scrape the top off and add it to the replacement pizza, or to a homemade crust, or any bread, or to the crust it came with - after cutting out the undercooked parts and baking them. Or maybe top noodles.

Totally depends on your opinion on what chickens should and shouldn't eat. Mine don't get many junky table scraps because we don't have many, but they have been fed everything and anything (except for chocolate things). They love pizza. As far as I'm concerned one of their jobs is cleaning up food scraps. It's not GOOD for them but it's not going to kill them overnight.

So, it depends on what your chickens are to you I suppose.

My chickens get all the kitchen scraps, everything. What they don't eat decomposes into the rub litter and helps the mulch feeds the worms, then the worms get eaten by the chickens. The cycle of life. Chickens "generally" will not eat bad poisonous items, but will sample. Feed em the pizza.

My chickens only get a little of the crust and its usally homeade pizza so its better anyway. I also make sure there is no sauce, or anything.
