Feeding chicks yogurt

Our chicks love yogurt! But is there a better way to give it to them? They seem to 'throw' it around and then get it all over themselves and their brooder. I was holding one later and her wing was all sticky. Can I bathe them? I did notice them giving themselves a 'bath' in their pine chips...is that good enough?

Yes, chickens love yogurt and yes it is messy. Don't worry about it since chickens have their own way of keeping themselves clean.
Cottage cheese is less messy.
And if you have a dairy farm near you, pick up some fresh milk and watch 'em go CRAZY.
I use a large flat pan to feed the yogurt or cottage cheese (seems to help with keeping the splashing mess to a minimum).

Mine absolutely love love love cottage cheese. To the point its difficult to get in the run with it w/o getting attacked
