Feeding Chicks

I was wondering if i could feed my baby chick laying food just curious.The reason why is because i already have layer feed and didnt want to buy more feed.

but just from experience no you cant.
it does not have enough protein. and most if not all will die because of a protein defficiency .

Layer food has a high calcium content which will cause organ damage in chicks. Should not be fed to chickens younger than 15-16 weeks.
