There is a delicate balance when it come to proper absorption of calcium.

I believe feeding birds a wide variety of natural food where they can choose what they need at the time is the best one can do for birds that are penned.

Well I screwed that info up ..I know a person named L. Dwight Schwartz, Dr. Schwartz was a professor of Avian Pathology teaching at Georgia , Penn state and Michigan State. He retired Professor emeritus from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State in 1993. Dr. Schwartz has authored a number of books . The one I use is "Growers reference on Gamebird Health" I made the previous post with the incorrect info .. I actually was going to reference the use of vitamin D3 . I use the Vitamins and electrolytes . If you read the later post from ZAZ it has the info I should have referenced . This is what happens when you get old and feeble minded

It has nothing to do with being old and feeble and you are not IMO we jusy got a pea sponge up there where our brains are and things get mixed up sometimes no big deal even younguns have this problem LOL
