I have 2 older pullets 15 weeks and 6 chicks about 1.5 weeks old and im wondering if i should wait till the chicks are old enough to eat layer feed to put them in the coop with the older 2? i have no plans on putting them outside till they are about 6 to 8weeks, just wondering what i should do?
thank you

I had the same question but when I went to get Flock Raiser it said it was for meat birds...so I didn't get it.

Flock Raiser not just for meat birds. Hundreds of folks here at BYC feed it and are big fans.

You can also feed everyone in the flock a chick feed as well. Chick feed doesn't have to be medicated if you don't want them to have Amprollium.
