Hi I live on a 2000 acre Farm I raise ducks,geese,turkeys,pigeons,chickens, emus, Guinies,peacocks, pheasants,and I raise other animals.

I have laying mash (non-medicated) in my automatic feeder all year round. And I put 1 flake of alfalfa on the ground once a week. I feed them oats and bread in the summer and whole corn in the winter. And I get a lot and I mean a lot of eggs from all 80 of my egg laying hens I don't have a rooster with my egg laying hens but I do have a rooster in another coop with some hens.
I really hope this helps everyone Who has chickens .
