Hello,
Is it ok to feed my chicken's eggs back to the chickens? If so is it better to cook them first? What else could I do with extra eggs?

Yep...Lots of us scramble our extra eggs and feed back to the chickens..its good for them, lots of protein....you can even crumble up the dry egg shell and mix into the cooked eggs....

Go to the recipe section, there are lots of ideas for extra eggs....

This may seem silly, but I have held back from feeding eggs because I was concerned that they may like them and eat their own!

I suppose as long as it isn't raw, they wouldn't associate it with their own eggs?

As long as they are cooked...scrambled or hard boiled they will be fine and they are really good for them.......egg eaters are usually found eating an egg from the nest...or one thats been dropped out in the run...

i keep a little thing in the fridge for stuff like egg shells and such. evrything just gets smushed together and fed to them. no waste.
