feeding guineas treats

i have 8 wk old guineas and every time i give them ne thing other than their feed they get diarrhea. I do mix grit in with the feed. i did have one guinea die 2 wks ago. is there somthing im not giving them that they need?

Un-Pastuerized Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother in it has probiotics in it... adding that to their drinking water; 1-2 TBS per gallon of water may help.

What are you giving them as treats, and how much at one time? Maybe give them smaller amounts, more frequently.

Also what are you feeding them as their normal feed?
