ive had my birds about a week now and they are coming up to POL.
The feeding routine ive got into is as follows
I give them their layer pellets in the morning and these stay down till dusk
Mid afternoon ive been trying various "treats"
and just before bed i give them and handful of scratch
i also hang a cabbage from a rope
The treats ive been trying mid afternoon they arent showing much interest, maybe the odd peck but come dusk its pretty much never consumed
Here is a list of things ive tried so far that theyve turned their beaks up at

Brocholli florets
bread
worms
spiders
carrots
porridge
peas

Would this be because theyve as yet never developed a taste for it or are my birds just slightly weird? lol
i thought they would go mad for worms and spiders etc
is this normal?
thoughts would be appreciated ty

Just turning up their beaks at new things. I doubt that they ever saw anything other then feed before. It will take some time till they get brave enough to try different things.
