Feeding high protein food to layers

We ended up with a 50lb bag of 22% starter feed and have a small flock of layers. Is it ok to feed this to our layers or dilute it in some way? Our ladies spend most of the day running around the yard and grazing as they wish.

Yes mix that feed in with your regular feed. OR you could mix it in with a cup or two of raw oatmeal, & serve it as a treat.

I'd offer oyster shell in a container for them, to make sure they're getting enough calcium. That's always a good thing to do, anyway. It lasts forever and is cheap insurance, anytime they're eating anything in addition to layer feed.
