Im running out of baby duck feed but i still got plenty of quail feed.
I've been feeding them egg and baby duck feed and the older oned potato and baby duck feed then i switched to barley groats (raw) mixed with baby duck feed (younger ones still get eggs with it). They are growing fine.
Can i give them quail layer feed mixed with barley groats? I don't know the baby duck feed nutritional value, friend poured me some from his.
One are over 20 days old and other ducks are over month old.

Personally, I wouldn't. The consequences of nutritional deficiency, and cost and time involved caring for ducks with it, are pretty serious. If you can't get duckling food locally you can buy it online.

Additionally, anything aside from commercial duck food and food that ducks forage should be considered a snack and take up a very small part of their diet. Less than 10% is the typical recommendation. So if you choose to provide potato please give very little.

In case you don't know, ducks who eat anything aside from commercial food need grit offered in a separate dish, unless they have access to the ground where they can get it naturally.

Good luck with your little ones.

I wouldnt, I wouldnt give a duckling anything labelled "layer".
How much protein/calcium does the feed have?
If you absolutely cannot get duckling food, get some non medicated chick crumb, and supplement 1 tbsp of nutritious yeast to every cup of feed.
Once the ducklings are about 3 weeks, you'll need to switch to growers, if again you just cannot find any- mix 12 tbsp of feed to 4 tbsp of oats, and to every one cup of that mixture add 1 tbsp nutritious yeast. They will need some chick grit (no added calcium, just fine small stones) in a separate dish, as they will need it to digest the oats. They can go onto duck layers once they reach 16 weeks.

If you take short-cuts, you'll likely see consequences, so do everything you can to find duckling appropriate food before resorting to anything else! Niacin is so important and they can get serious issues if they dont get enough!
Good luck with your babies
