We are feeding our grown hens laying mash (has a picture of a barred rock on bag) that's supposed to make them lay more eggs. Do we still need to leave out some oyster shell pieces? Anything else we are supposed to be giving them - food wise?

It won't "make them lay more eggs" but it has what their bodies need to produce eggs.

Yes, you still need to provide oyster shell. Some hens need more calcium than layer feed includes.

thanks so much! I put a small bowl with some cracked oyster shells (from TSC) in the coop, they haven't touched it - yet.
