Just wondering, how do you feed mash to your poultry with the least amount of waste? A 100lb bag is $19.50, vs $13 for a 50lb bag of crumbles/pellets. I'd love to use the locally grown/ground mash, but I just don't see how it's done conveniently.

A properly adjust tube feeder works well. Or you can use a trough with either a reel top or a wires to keep them from scratching it out.

I fed mash for a while and the birds liked it if the ingredients were good.

.....Alan.
