Feeding meaties

I want to start raising Cornish x. I found a feed mix that calls for roasted soybeans. Check it out at www.lionsgrip.com my question is there a substitute for soybean? Also my local feed store has soybean meal which is extremely high and protein. Seeing how the recipe calls for the mix to be grinded is meal the same as roasted soybean? Hope this is not a dumb question someone please give me your input

Wow that's a really good question. I would think it is especially since cornish X are typically raised for meat so they eat a high protein feed. Sorry I couldn't be much help but hopefully the bump gets you someone that knows the answer.
