Feeding Peachick??

Can you feed pet store bourght mealworms to a peachick?? He is 2 weeks old now. Because every bug that walks past his tank he chases up and down the glass, lol, so can i give him mealworms??

after we got our very first batch of 25 chicken chicks from the hatchery (before I started with peacocks)
Hubby would stop on his way home from work and get a bag of tiny crickets from the pet store.
Then he'd come home, grab a beer, then sit and watch all the baby chicks chase crickes around ..... most entertaining!

I raised a peachick from an egg. His name is Peabody. I made a Youtube video about him. He bonded to me from birth and would follow me around the yard as I hunted grasshoppers and crickets for him. As I caught a bug I would make sertain sounds that he learned to be "I have a bug" or "Danger hide!" etc. I still have him but he turned out to be a she. LOL She used to hop out of her brooder box in the living room and fly up and roost on my monitor and I'd feed her little pieces of cheddar cheese. Holy cow she LOVED cheese! LOL She is full grown and part of the flock now but still runs up to me and talks to me and responds to me talking to her. oops I'm rambling

Wow thanks for the story on peabody, thats so cute what should i type into youtube to find the clip?? Thank so far my little boy (Im guessing boy lol) named Peirre loves lettuce, alfalfa, bird seed, rolled oats, raw rice and broccoli do you have any other foods peabody liked?? Well im off to find some cheese and no dont worry about rambling its what i specialise in too lol thanks!!

That summer was one of the best of my life. He and I were together constantly. He was a solo chick so I hated to leave him in the brooder box all by himself......sooooo I wore a hoodie and he pretty much lived in the front pouch. He's come out and roost on my shoulder and we'd watch tv. I still have him. Actually he turned out to be a she. She still talks to me and follows me but I think one of the males is trying to court her. lol
