I am currently feedin my chicken chicks 21% med. starter crumbs. Is this the correct food fer my pheasant chicks also ?
If not, then what ?
Thanx, Jim

It's okay for the pheasants, but if you could find 24% or 28% that would be a little better.

Thanks for the info, warcard, first time pheasant raiser here, too!

No problem, we have actually cut back to the more exotic pheasants since we moved to Indiana. We just moved here from down your way (Manchester, TN) and loved our ringnecks, but they are more regulated here in IN since they can breed in the wild

. The chiggers suck the babies dry in TN when they try and breed in the wild.

Good luck with the new birds.

I'm glad you mentioned this.

Our friend/neighbor made the same statement several times when he found out we were wanting to get a few Red Golden's but we just blew it off because he isn't into birds of any kind.

I feel better hearing it from someone who knows.

We're not far from Manchester at all just south of Sparta, here!
