Feeding quails

What can i feed my quails. I want to make food for them I do have a worm bin that produce enough to feed them. but what else can I give them I have heard you can do corn too. but I figure with the worms it can give them the 20% protein they need in there diet.Do you guys think feeding them worm good enough???

Do you have Cotournix quail?

Worms in general are good for the quail if they eat them. Worms alone are not a complete enough food source. You could try adding boiled eggs that are broken up, and mealworms, dried or live. Quail are not big on grass or most greens but they do eat a few bits of weeds and lettuce. Small seeds of many kinds are of interest to some quail.

Your best option is going to be a complete Game Bird Starter for their overall health. But if you are trying to avoid this you will need to do your homework.

I am soon to get some cotounix soon yes. I am doing a lot of research on what i can feed them until than. I do plan on getting Came bird starter just dont know what kind yet.
